Educational Urban Farm: The 2 acre plot across from RCS Empowers - 1607 Geele Ave, Sheboygan, WI

Local Urban Bee Keeping Enthusiast, Dan Pitsch, will use his experience as an Urban Bee Keeper to lead a workshop that begins with an informative lecture follow-by hands-on activities.

Hands­-on Activities

Processing honey
Sampling comb honey
Opening and inspecting the hive (bee suits available)
Observation hive. 
Hand out straw sticks of honey (commercially produced)
Pictures for coloring and literature handouts

Posters from the Sheboygan County Beekeepers Association will be present. An unoccupied hive with all the beekeeping tools will also be on display.

Register today as space is limited! $10 per person, $5 for children 12 years old and younger, and free for children under 5 years old.
