Nourish Spring Salads Garden Workshop

Saturday, June 10

10:00am - 12:00pm

Nourish Educational Urban Farm: The 2 acre plot across from RCS Empowers - 1607 Geele Ave, Sheboygan, WI

Urban Farm Manager, Jake Lambrecht, will use his experience as an organic farmer to teach and lead this garden workshop. The workshop will involve lessons and demonstrations on planting, harvesting and preparing salads.

When we think of spring, we think green. We are talking salads. A garden can contain an extremely wide variety of cultivated and wild edible greens lending texture, flavor, color and aroma to your salad. Join us for a tour of our Educational Urban Farm and then take part in harvesting, washing, preparing, and eating a fresh garden salad with seasonal produce. Learn the secret to making stellar dressings from scratch.

Register today as space is limited! $10 per person, $5 for children 12 years old and under, and free for children under 5 years old.

For more information or to RSVP directly, contact Nourish at info@nourishfarms.org or 920-627-GROW(4769), or visit Eventbrite to RSVP online.
